REPLACEMENT OF SPEED VARIATOR IN COCA-COLA BOTTLER IN COLIMA, 2022
A field survey was carried out to verify plate data, distances, permissives and general conditions, resulting in the selection of a Variable Speed Drive, which improved the performance of the equipment through PID control modes.
INTRODUCTION
The Colima bottling company distributes Coca-Cola company beverages to 9,600 points of sale in the north of the state of Colima and the south of Jalisco.
CHALLENGE
Replace an old and damaged variator, which was connected to a compressor for the Coca-Cola production process, so it had to be replaced urgently since the brand they had did not have spare parts or equipment for immediate delivery.
SOLUTION
Preparation of the engineering, supply, installation and commissioning of a 250 HP variable speed drive.
Designed to automatically control a wide range of production equipment. It performed successfully in a 4-hour test. It is currently fully operational.
